Terms of Service
AI GG Corp (OneRingAway) · Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you (the business that subscribes) and AI GG Corp (OneRingAway) ("OneRingAway", "we") for the OneRingAway phone assistant service. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written in plain English on purpose; the plain words are the binding ones.
1. What the service is
OneRingAway answers phone calls to a number we provide (or that you forward to it) with an automated assistant that speaks with callers, takes messages, collects the information you asked for, and books appointments into a schedule you control. It sends you text messages and shows you a web page and an app with calls, recordings, transcripts and bookings.
The assistant is software, not a person. It tells every caller at the start that it is an AI receptionist and that the call may be recorded and transcribed. Like any automated system it can make mistakes: it may mishear a name, an address, a date or a price; give an answer that is wrong or out of date; miss how urgent something is; make a duplicate or incorrect booking; or be slow or cut off when networks are busy. You remain responsible for your customers, your prices and your decisions, which is why you can set bookings to wait for your approval and why every call is written down for you to check.
The assistant does not give legal, medical, financial, safety or emergency advice. It is not an emergency service: when a caller describes danger it tells them to call 911 and, if you have set a number for it, transfers the call to you. You must keep your own emergency arrangements.
2. Your account, your settings and your promises
You must give accurate business information and keep your contact details current. You are responsible for what you tell the assistant to say — prices, licences, policies, notes and training — and you promise that it is true and that you hold any licence it claims. You may not instruct the assistant to say anything unlawful, misleading or discriminatory, to collect information you have no right to collect, or to make calls or send texts the law does not allow.
You promise that you have the right to give us your business information and your callers' information, that you will get any consent your state or your callers' states require for recording, transcription, AI handling and text messages, and that you will review bookings, messages and urgent alerts promptly. Keep your login, your app and your private links to yourself: anyone with them can see your customers' details.
3. Callers: the AI announcement, recording and consent
Every call the assistant answers begins with an announcement that the caller is speaking with an AI receptionist and that the call may be recorded and transcribed. A caller who does not want that can hang up or call your business line directly; the assistant never hides that it is recording.
Recording laws differ by state: some require the consent of everyone on the call. The announcement is designed for that, but you are responsible for making sure your use of OneRingAway — including any wording you ask us to change — complies with the recording, wiretap and disclosure laws that apply to you and to the people who call you. Recordings and transcripts are kept so you can review them and so we can keep the service working well; see section 5.
4. Appointments: who confirms
Whether a booking is final is controlled by your settings. With "Bookings need your OK first" switched on (the default), the assistant tells the caller the time is requested and that the office will confirm; nothing is final until you confirm it, and a request you never answer closes itself after 24 hours and the caller is told you will reach out. With it switched off, the assistant books straight into your schedule and tells the caller it is booked. In both cases the assistant books only times you have made available, never quotes a price you have not given it, and never accepts a price on your behalf.
5. Your data and your callers' data
Ownership. Your business information, your settings, and the information about your callers — names, numbers, addresses, bookings, messages, recordings and transcripts — belong to you. We hold them to provide the service to you.
What we do with it. We use this information only to run, secure, support and improve the service for you: answering your calls, texting your customers on your behalf, showing you your calls and bookings, and checking quality. We do not sell caller information, we never use it for our own marketing or anyone else's, and we do not use your recordings or transcripts to train general-purpose AI models. An AI reads recent transcripts to flag calls that need attention; that is a review, not training.
Who helps us run it. The service is built on other companies' systems, each under its own contract with us and only for the purpose described: Retell (the voice assistant; it holds call recordings), OpenAI (the language model the assistant speaks with), Twilio and Telnyx (phone numbers and text messages), Stripe (payments — card details never touch our servers), Railway (hosting), Neon and Cloudflare (encrypted copies and backups), Google (your calendar, only when you connect it), Resend (email), and Anthropic (quality review of transcripts). Where one of these is replaced or added we update our privacy policy.
How long we keep it. Call recordings and transcripts are removed 90 days after the call — from our database and from the voice provider. Text messages are removed 90 days after they were sent. Caller and booking details stay while your account is active so repeat callers are recognised. When your account closes, everything about your callers, bookings, calls and texts is erased within 90 days, or at once if you use "Delete my account and all data". Encrypted backup copies can persist for up to twelve months after deletion before they are overwritten; they are never restored except to recover from a failure. Invoices are kept as tax law requires, with no call data in them.
Your copy. You can see and download your calls, transcripts and bookings in the app and on your pages at any time. If you want a complete copy of your account's data, email info@oneringaway.com and we send it within ten business days.
Security. Transcripts, recording links and calendar tokens are encrypted at rest; backups and off-site copies are encrypted; access to your data needs your login or ours. If we learn of a security incident affecting your data we will tell you by email without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours of confirming it, with what we know and what we are doing.
Service-provider terms. Where a privacy law (for example California's) treats us as your service provider or processor, that is what we are: we process personal information only on your instructions and for the purposes in these terms, we do not sell or share it, we keep it confidential, we apply the security measures described here, we help you answer your callers' privacy requests, and we delete or return it at the end of the service. These terms are our data-processing agreement with you; if your state requires a separate signed one, email info@oneringaway.com and we will provide it.
6. Information the assistant must not collect
The assistant is built to take what a booking needs — a name, a phone number, an address, what the job is, when. It is not designed to hold sensitive information and you may not instruct it to collect: Social Security or other government ID numbers; full payment-card numbers, bank details or security codes; passwords or login codes; or medical, health or insurance information beyond what a caller volunteers about a job (for example that someone in the house is unwell and the visit is urgent).
Health care. OneRingAway is not designed for protected health information and is not HIPAA-compliant. You may not use it for a medical, dental, mental-health or other HIPAA-regulated practice unless we have signed a Business Associate Agreement with you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service, or to instruct the assistant, for: spam, illegal robocalls, or marketing texts; fraud, impersonating another business or person, or statements you know to be misleading; harassment, threats or discrimination; emergency dispatch; selling anything illegal; collecting information you do not need or have no right to; using content (names, text, recordings) you do not have permission to use; or trying to get around our security, overload the platform, scrape it, or interfere with other customers. We may suspend the service immediately when it is used in violation of this section.
8. Text messages (SMS program terms)
Program: OneRingAway appointment confirmations and service notifications. The same terms are published on their own at https://www.oneringaway.com/legal/sms-terms.
Who receives texts: (a) your customers, who book an appointment on a call with the assistant and say yes when it asks "Is it okay if I text the details to this number?" — they get the appointment details to confirm by replying YES, and a short reply to their answer; (b) you, the business owner, who agrees in writing at setup to receive a copy of each booking, message and job request, and your login codes. Messages are transactional only. We never send marketing or promotional texts.
Message frequency: varies; typically 1 to 4 messages per appointment for customers, and one message per booking, message or login for owners.
Msg & data rates may apply.
To opt out: reply STOP to any message. One final message confirms you are unsubscribed, and no further texts are sent. Reply START to subscribe again.
For help: reply HELP to any message, or email info@oneringaway.com.
Privacy: mobile numbers and consent to receive texts are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See the Privacy Policy (https://www.oneringaway.com/legal/privacy).
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Phone numbers and forwarding
The number the assistant answers on is provided through our carriers and is licensed to you for use while you subscribe. It stays subject to the carrier's rules, and numbers can occasionally be unavailable, delayed or reassigned by a carrier for reasons outside our control. Where the law or the carrier allows you to port the number out, we will cooperate with a written request; porting can take time and the carrier's porting fees, if any, are yours. When you cancel, the number is kept for 30 days in case you return and is then released or reassigned, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Forwarding your own number to the assistant is done on your carrier's side by you, with our instructions; carrier charges for forwarding, if any, are yours. When you cancel or pause, remember to turn forwarding off — until you do, your callers reach a line nobody answers.
10. Plans, trial, payment and renewal
Plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you subscribe, by card through Stripe. New accounts get a 14-day free trial; a card is required. After the trial your plan renews automatically every month at that price plus any applicable taxes until you cancel, and by subscribing you authorise those recurring charges to your card. Cancel before the trial ends and nothing is charged. We send you a confirmation with the price, the renewal terms and how to cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your billing page.
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of call minutes; if you use it up we keep answering, we tell you, and we suggest a larger plan. We do not bill overage charges you did not choose. If a payment fails we tell you and keep the service running for 7 days so you can update the card; after that the assistant pauses until the card is fixed.
We may change prices with 30 days' notice by email; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice.
11. Cancelling, suspension and ending the service
You can cancel any time from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; there is no refund for the remainder of that period, and no cancellation fee. After cancellation the assistant stops answering. We keep your settings and history for 90 days in case you return, then delete them (section 5); you can ask for a copy before then.
We may suspend or end the service, after telling you unless the situation does not allow it, when: it is used in breach of these terms or the law; it is used in a way that puts callers, other customers or the platform at risk; a carrier, provider or regulator requires it; your use generates spam complaints or far exceeds normal volume for one business; or your account is unpaid beyond the grace period. We may also stop offering the service altogether with at least 30 days' notice, with a refund of any unused prepaid period.
12. Ownership
We own the service: the software, the assistant's scripts and configuration, the apps and pages, the brand and the documentation. You keep ownership of your content — your business information, your notes and training, and your callers' information — and you give us a limited licence to store and process it to provide the service. If you send us suggestions or feedback we may use them to improve the service without owing you anything. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service, or use it to build a competing product.
13. Third-party services and availability
The service depends on telephone carriers, voice and AI providers, hosting, payments, email, messaging and calendar services run by other companies (section 5). Their outages, changes and rules can affect OneRingAway, and an integration (for example a calendar connection) may be changed or withdrawn if its provider changes. We work hard to keep the service up and answering — it is monitored around the clock and tested every morning — but we cannot guarantee that every call will be answered or every detail understood.
14. What we promise, and what we cannot
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for lost business, missed jobs, lost profits or revenue, or for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, however caused. Our total liability to you for all claims related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, or to fraud or wilful misconduct. Some states do not allow some of these limits; where that is so, they apply to the fullest extent the law allows.
You will defend and reimburse us for claims, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your instructions to the assistant, your products or services, your calls, texts or statements to callers, your failure to obtain a consent you were responsible for, or your breach of these terms.
15. Disputes, governing law and general terms
Who we are. AI GG Corp (OneRingAway) is a New York corporation. Notices to us go to info@oneringaway.com; notices to you go to the email on your account, and count as delivered when sent.
Law and courts. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York, and both of us agree to those courts. We each waive a jury trial, and you agree to bring claims only on your own behalf, not as a class.
General. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account without our consent; we may transfer this agreement to a successor of our business. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events outside reasonable control (carrier or provider failures, power or internet outages, natural events, government action). These terms, together with the privacy policy, the SMS terms and the plan you chose, are the whole agreement between us; if they conflict, these terms come first, then the privacy policy, then the SMS terms. Sections 5, 12, 14 and this section survive the end of the service.
Changes. We may update these terms; we will email you about material changes at least 14 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. Questions: info@oneringaway.com.
